Intercom systems are commonly used in apartment buildings and condominiums for visitors to communicate with a resident to gain access through a locked entryway. Residents can also use the system to communicate with other residents in different units or in different rooms within the same unit.
In Massachusetts, there is an addendum to the state building code that requires buildings with 10 or more apartments to also provide closed-circuit security cameras so occupants can observe who is seeking entrance to the building.
MFA has partnered with Urmet S.p.A., a global manufacturer of video/doorphone systems.
Urmet systems combine innovative technology and design for a highly cost-effective 2-wire solution.
MFA also partners with Mircom for additional intercom solutions.
